On August 25 in St. John’s Park, NWCC offered a free bicycle valet and free bicycle tune-ups at the annual Picnic in the Park. NWCC also provided a public
information booth dedicated to the commuter cyclist of all ages. NWCC also unveiled their Phase I Cycling Infrastructure Route Network Map - - with the inetntion of gathering more input, ideas and creating community consensus on the need for a bicycle infrastructure network. The turn out was spectacular. Many thanks to the astounding amount of people who chose to fill our surveys, sign our petitions and write letters of support.
